DESCRIPTION
We are producing a series of 6-episode historical documentaries on the life and work of the brothers Alexandros and Dimitrios Ypsilantis entitled "The pioneers of the Revolution".
The series will highlight the wealth of the Greek Diaspora during the pre-revolutionary years, the networks of Greek expatriates throughout Europe, the mechanisms of their development in foreign imperial courtyards, the osmosis with the ideas of the Enlightenment in the great centers of European education.
This will unfold the tangle of one of the most brilliant revolutions of the Greek era, through the presentation of the deeds of one of the most historic and noble families of ecumenical Hellenism, the Ypsilantis family.
